Skinvive is an effective, deeply hydrating treatment that improves the skin’s wellbeing and glow. The treatment uses a light hyaluronic acid-based gel that effectively binds moisture into the skin and supports the skin’s structure in a long-lasting way. Skinvive’s Two Mechanisms of Action
The effectiveness of Skinvive treatment is based on two complementary mechanisms that increase and maintain the skin’s moisture in the long term:
1. Long-Lasting Hyaluronic Acid
Skinvive contains lightly cross-linked, long-acting hyaluronic acid that binds a large amount of water into the skin. This improves the skin’s moisture balance and structure, which can be seen as smoother and more elastic skin.
2. AQP3 (Aquaporin-3)
AQP3 is the skin’s own water channel protein that enables water and glycerol to be transported efficiently to the skin cells. Skinvive supports the function of AQP3, which enhances the transport of hyaluronic acid and moisture into the cells. This mechanism supports deep skin hydration and helps achieve even and long-lasting treatment results.
According to studies, the combined effect of these two mechanisms makes it possible to increase and maintain skin moisture for up to 9 months after a single Skinvive treatment.

All injection treatments involve a risk of bruising and a small risk of infection.
Before Treatment
During the consultation, the treatment, the course of the treatment and aftercare instructions are discussed. The consultation also ensures that the treatment is suitable for your skin.
Before the treatment, the skin is carefully cleansed. Please remove any makeup before your appointment. Skinvive contains lidocaine, a local anesthetic.
Treatment Procedure
The treatment is quick and effortless, taking approximately 15–30 minutes, and it is usually well tolerated.
Skinvive is administered evenly with a very thin needle as small injections into the dermis, just beneath the surface layer of the skin. The product spreads evenly over a wide area, and at the end of the treatment, the treated area is carefully massaged.
After Treatment
After the treatment, the skin may be slightly red, but the symptoms usually disappear quickly. To support recovery, we recommend avoiding sauna and strenuous exercise for 48 hours. Protect the skin from the sun with at least SPF 50 sunscreen during recovery. Makeup can be used the following day.
The skin feels softer and more hydrated within just a few days after the treatment. The final results develop over 2–4 weeks, as the hyaluronic acid binds moisture and its effect in the skin increases.
