Risks of Blood Vessel Laser Treatment
Vascular laser treatments are generally safe and effective.
With superficial vascular lasers, the risk of scarring is extremely low. The risk of scarring associated with high-powered Nd laser is also low when performed by skilled professionals.
Temporary pigmentation may develop in the treated area in skin types that tan easily. For this reason, treatments should only be performed on untanned skin, and sun protection is part of the aftercare. The treatment is not suitable for dark skin.
