Rhinoplasty can be aesthetic, functional, or both
The goal of rhinoplasty is to achieve a nose that harmonizes with the facial features and enables good breathing function. When planning rhinoplasty, it is important to consider the face as a whole and pay attention to facial proportions. If needed, other procedures, such as filler treatments, can also be used alongside rhinoplasty to balance facial proportions.
Who does rhinoplasty suit?
- you are unhappy with the shape, size, or profile of your nose
- your nose is crooked or asymmetrical, for example after an injury
- you have difficulty breathing due to the structures of your nose
- you wish for a natural, yet visibly more harmonious result
An Appointment Before the Procedure
During an appointment with a plastic surgeon, the situation is evaluated, the procedure is planned, and the surgical technique is discussed and explained. The distinct features and wishes of each client are considered when planning the procedure.
The decision to go through with the surgery is always based on the client’s own wishes, and the result is considered individually.
We will always be honest about what can be achieved with the procedure.

Rhinoplasty – The Procedure
Small rhinoplasty procedures can sometimes be performed under local anesthesia. More extensive rhinoplasty, however, requires general anesthesia. The surgical incision is typically located at the lower part of the nose, between the nostrils and inside the nose. During the procedure, the existing cartilaginous and bony structures of the nose can be modified according to the plan made before surgery.
