Surgical process
- Skin incision: a small incision, about 2.5 cm, is made in the armpit.
- Tunneling: the Motiva® Channel Separator is used to create a channel for the implant behind the mammary gland through the small incision.
- Tissue expansion: the Motiva® Inflatable Balloon is used to expand the breast tissue in a controlled manner while preserving the breast’s own supporting structures.
- Implant placement: the chosen implant is placed using the Mia injector.
