Hydrafacial™ treatment
Before treatment
Before starting the treatment, its suitability for your skin is always ensured.
Pregnancy or breastfeeding is a contraindication for the treatment. Severe acne, other skin infections, dermatitis, active cold sores or active rosacea may prevent the treatment. The recommended interval between injection treatments and Hydrafacial is 2 weeks. After laser treatments, it is advisable to wait 4 weeks before having a Hydrafacial. During isotretinoin medication, Hydrafacial is performed only based on a dermatologist’s assessment.
Before the treatment, the skin is carefully cleansed. Please remove any makeup before your appointment.
During treatment
During the treatment, the skin is cleansed, gently exfoliated and impurities are removed from the pores using a painless vacuum suction. At the same time, individually selected powerful antioxidants, peptides, hyaluronic acid or other active ingredients can be infused into the skin to provide intensive hydration and support its natural wellbeing. LED light therapy can be combined with the treatment to enhance the results.
After treatment
Recovery after the treatment is usually not required, and you can return to your normal daily activities immediately.
It is recommended to avoid makeup for the rest of the day so the skin can fully benefit from the serums infused during the treatment. We also advise avoiding sauna, sweating and exfoliating skincare products on the day of the treatment, and using sun protection for the following week.
Treatment risks
Hydrafacial™ is a safe treatment. After the procedure, mild redness, skin sensitivity or a tightening sensation may occur, usually fading during the course of the day.
