Hilve’s special expertise is breast surgery, body contouring, and correcting separation of abdominal muscles. She also performs smaller procedures, such as upper eyelid surgery and skin cancer surgery, and she has special competence in wound care. For her, it is important that every patient receives a natural result and an honest and realistic view of the available treatment options.
Hilve graduated as a Licentiate of Medicine from the University of Kuopio in 1995 and as a specialist in plastic surgery in 2005. In addition, she completed special competence in wound care in 2018. Research work and continuous training are an important part of her career. She has held a private practice for more than ten years. She enjoys spending time in the forest or mountains, skiing, cycling, and walking.
