Botox Treatment
Botulinum toxin treatment, commonly known as Botox or BTX treatment, is a popular non-surgical treatment to reduce and prevent changes from aging. In this treatment, botulinum toxin is injected into certain muscles, decreasing their excess contracting and activity. This is how the “dynamic furrows”, lines caused by muscle activity, lessen.

Aesthetic Botox Treatment – The Procedure
The treatment is done by a healthcare professional. It is done without numbing, using tiny needles.
The effect of the treatment will show after a few days, and the final result can be seen after 7-10 days. The results last for 3-6 months, and treatments for maintaining the result are therefore needed.
The Risks of the Treatment
Small bruises are possible in all injection treatments. To minimize bruises, we recommend refraining from using infection pain medication and omega-3 and fish oil supplements for 2 weeks prior to the treatment.
Rare side effects are unwanted effects on muscles in the treated area, such as heaviness or slight drooping in the upper eyelids. These usually improve in a few weeks.
The treatment is not done to those currently pregnant or breastfeeding.
