Pauliina’s special area of expertise is plastic surgery of the face.
Pauliina Homsy studied medicine in England at the renowned University of Cambridge, graduating first as a Doctor of Medical Science in neuroendocrinology in 2011 and as a physician in 2012. She graduated as a specialist in plastic surgery from the University of Helsinki in 2021 and completed her doctoral dissertation in plastic surgery in 2023.
Pauliina has completed advanced fellowship training in facial surgery at the HUS plastic surgery clinic, as well as visiting periods in the United States and England, including at MD Anderson Cancer Center and Mayo Clinic.
Pauliina works full-time at the HUS plastic surgery clinic, focusing on facial surgery, and has also worked in the private sector since 2020. She is an active researcher and supervises doctoral researchers and medical students.
